Ingenio has created a partnership with online yellow pages provider, go2. Ingenio’s pay-per-call advertisers will be listed in go2’s directory. Go2 has partnerships with various wireless carriers. This alliance will allow advertisers to buy into the results queue, which will result in being in the top listings for a local search on a mobile user’s phone.

This will help local businesses connect with more customers. This type of technology is especially useful for businesses that do not need a “shopping cart” for their services. Go2 will be able to have more useful and relevant content. The return on investment can be clearly tracked to determine the effectiveness of the pay-per-call advertising.
